Soul Graves, a timed soul recovery plugin

Soul Graves adds a distinctive death recovery system to a Java Minecraft server. When a player dies, the plugin creates a soul at the death location and stores the player’s belongings inside it. Audio effects, particles, and configurable visual signals help players find their lost gear.

Walking into the soul restores its contents, while waiting too long makes it unstable and causes it to burst, scattering items and possibly experience. Server owners can configure collection rights, active soul limits, countdown behavior, disabled worlds, sounds, notifications, and cross server storage.
