Hidden Names is a Java Edition mod for controlling how player names appear above their characters. Designed for both the client and server, it supports Forge, Fabric, and NeoForge, making it a flexible choice for a Minecraft server focused on privacy, roleplay, or visual customization.

Using commands, administrators can hide nameplates by default or for selected players, decide whether blocks conceal them, and replace names with custom text. Colour, animation, and reset options add further control, while operator permissions help keep these settings reserved for trusted staff.
