Grabby Mobs, more reactive creatures

Grabby Mobs is a Minecraft Java mod that changes how mobs capable of carrying equipment interact with dropped items. Instead of relying on vanilla’s small random chance, eligible creatures consistently pick up suitable gear from the floor, making encounters more dynamic and less predictable. Zombies, skeletons, piglins, drowned, husks, strays, vexes and wither skeletons can collect equipment, while witches focus on their main hand and evokers or vindicators have more limited armor behavior.

Designed for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, it works server side and suits survival, adventure and challenge focused gameplay. At BoxToPlay, we recommend it for a Minecraft server where mob encounters should feel more reactive and immersive.
