Craftable Gunpowder is a Java Edition datapack that adds a practical alternative to Creeper drops. In Minecraft 1.20 and later, combine sand, two charcoal, and a magma block to produce four gunpowder. From version 26.2 onward, an alternative recipe uses potent sulfur, bone meal, and charcoal, matching the materials introduced by newer game content.
