Better Sniffers reworks the sniffer in Minecraft Java Edition, turning this archaeological mob into a more valuable part of survival. It lets sniffers appear naturally in villages, so players can encounter them during exploration instead of relying only on rare methods of acquisition.

The datapack expands their digging loot beyond Torchflower Seeds and Pitcher Pods, adding more reasons to raise and protect them, while also making sand renewable through sniffer activity.
