Simplified Recipies is a utility datapack for Minecraft Java Edition that adjusts selected vanilla recipes and introduces practical alternatives for survival gameplay. It reduces the cost of a golden apple and an anvil, adds crafting recipes for chainmail armor, and expands access to useful resources.

Bamboo can be turned into lime dye, while smelting selected dyes provides prismarine crystals or shards. The pack also adds more efficient recipes for prismarine, prismarine bricks, and quartz blocks, plus blast furnace recipes for sand and netherrack. On a Minecraft server, our BoxToPlay team sees it as a lightweight way to make progression smoother without changing the vanilla feel.
