FastEvent, faster Forge event handling

FastEvent is a Java Edition performance mod for Forge and NeoForge servers. It optimizes the event system used by mods to react to gameplay and lifecycle events, replacing runtime generated handler classes with lambda based handlers. This reduces the cost of creating and invoking listeners, with project benchmarks reporting gains of about 6.4 percent during registration and 24 percent during repeated event posting.

It supports Minecraft 1.16.5, 1.18.2, 1.19.2, 1.20.1, and 1.21.1, on both client and server. The project is now abandoned, so compatibility should be checked carefully before adding it to a modded Minecraft server. At BoxToPlay, we present it as a targeted optimization for event heavy modpacks.
