Chatlogging is a lightweight Bukkit plugin designed to preserve conversations on a Minecraft server. It records public chat, private messages handled by supported plugins, and commands, adding the date, time, player name, and world to each entry. The information is stored in readable text files, making past conversations easy to review when investigating incidents or checking server activity.
Administrators can toggle logging with the /cl command, control notifications and permissions, and choose between one continuous file or separate daily logs. At BoxToPlay, we see it as a practical moderation tool for older Bukkit based servers.
