PlayerCrasher is a Java server plugin that deliberately crashes a selected player’s Minecraft client through the /crash command. It uses packet based methods, including explosion, particle, and position effects, with an automatic method choice when no option is specified. The plugin also provides a command for viewing a player’s client information.
Designed for Bukkit servers and compatible forks, it supports Minecraft versions 1.8.8 through 1.21.3, as well as several proxy platforms. Its features include asynchronous packet handling, Folia support, configurable settings, permissions, alerts, bypass options, and crash detection. Because it can seriously disrupt gameplay, we recommend restricting access to trusted staff. At BoxToPlay, we present it as a controlled testing and moderation tool for a Minecraft server.
