Boar Anticheat is a proof of concept Geyser extension designed to protect Bedrock players connecting to a crossplay Minecraft server. It uses packet based analysis, movement prediction, and server auth with rewind principles to compare client actions with expected vanilla behavior. Its checks target many movement cheats, including fly, speed, jump, no fall, no slow, velocity, reach, hitbox, and timer modifications. Lag compensation and smooth rewind setbacks help reduce the impact of latency during detection.
Boar is free and open source, but it remains experimental and does not cover every Bedrock and Java gameplay difference. It is intended for Bedrock players only, so our BoxToPlay team recommends pairing it with a separate anticheat for Java players.
