xMail is a discontinued Bukkit plugin that created a shared mail service for players across multiple Minecraft servers. Through commands, users could send text messages and item attachments locally or between servers, then browse inboxes, sent mail, read messages, reply, or collect attachments. It also supported online web access, mass messaging, and delivery to a server console.
Designed as a lightweight network tool, xMail offered mailboxes, an API for integrations, optional custom mail servers, and safeguards against oversized transfers involving items or money. Our BoxToPlay team presents it as a historical solution for older Bukkit networks, rather than a modern Minecraft server feature.
