RealisticChat, realistic local chat

RealisticChat is a Bukkit plugin that replaces server wide communication with a more immersive proximity system. Players hear nearby messages clearly, while conversations from farther away gradually become distorted as letters disappear. Beyond the configured hearing range, messages are no longer received, making distance meaningful on a Minecraft server.

Its configurable features include local chat, whispering, yelling, bullhorns, ear trumpets, walkie talkies, and smartphones.
