PowerMotD is a lightweight Bukkit and Spigot plugin that customizes the message of the day shown in the multiplayer server list and when players join. It gives administrators a simple way to present news, server information, rules, or a welcoming introduction.

The MOTD can be edited through commands or the configuration file, with support for chat and sign colors, line breaks, and useful placeholders such as player name, time, version, and online players. PowerMotD also supports longer in game messages and optional balance displays through Vault. At BoxToPlay, it helps make every Minecraft server entrance more informative and personalized.
