Atmospheric Lantern is a Minecraft datapack created as a visual companion for the Heart of Nightmares horror survival modpack. Designed for Minecraft 1.19.2, it combines two lantern resource packs into a focused decorative addition that supports the pack’s unsettling atmosphere.

The project refreshes the lantern texture and improves its appearance in the first person, helping the light source feel more immersive during exploration and survival. Texture work comes from Animun4ik, while Sindavar33 contributed the first person hand position and CurseSoul refined the adjustment. On a Minecraft server, this small addition can make dark areas, bases, and tense encounters feel more cohesive. BoxToPlay presents it as a simple atmospheric enhancement for horror focused gameplay.
