SwearFilter is a legacy Bukkit plugin designed to keep chat on a Minecraft server cleaner and more welcoming. It checks player messages and commands against a configurable list of blocked words, which administrators can add, remove, or display directly in game. The plugin requires uuidAPI to function correctly and is intended for older Bukkit releases, with its main file listed for Minecraft 1.8.3.
SwearFilter can stop inappropriate messages, replace detected words with stars, and apply automatic bans after a configurable number of offences. Optional temporary bans, language messages, bypass permissions, notifications, and personal visibility controls give BoxToPlay server teams practical moderation flexibility.
