Emerald Tools is a Bukkit plugin that gives emeralds a practical role on a Minecraft server. Players can craft diamond tools and armor with emeralds, receiving random enchantments with each creation. Adding a diamond upgrades the result to Tier 2, while combining emeralds, a diamond, and blaze powder creates Tier 3 equipment.

Tier 2 items offer twice the normal durability, and Tier 3 items last three times longer while guaranteeing a good enchantment. Recipe ingredients can be customized in the configuration, making the plugin easy to adapt to different server economies. At BoxToPlay, it adds progression, trading value, and surprise to survival gameplay.
