LimboAuth, secure authentication in a virtual lobby
LimboAuth is an authentication plugin for Velocity that keeps players in a virtual lobby, called Limbo, until they log in or register. Built on LimboAPI, it runs on a dedicated virtual Minecraft server environment, protecting your main Minecraft server from bots and malicious connections while players authenticate safely.
It supports H2, MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, hybrid online and offline modes, Geyser Floodgate, BCrypt password hashing and TOTP two factor authentication. With flexible configuration and migration support from classic Auth plugins, we use it to reinforce account security on our BoxToPlay infrastructure.
