Nightosphere is a Java Edition datapack that lightly reshapes Nether generation with level design and exploration in mind. It keeps the original biome distribution while making the dimension taller, more open, and less frustrating to navigate.

The Nether can reach height 224, with upper netherrack areas and small caves, while cave carvers stop below the lava ocean. Quartz becomes more plentiful, ancient debris appears in more scattered deposits, and new cave rivers support strider travel. Terrain aware fungi placement and more flexible basalt columns also create cleaner, more structure friendly landscapes for a Minecraft server.
