MathegymMap, a Minecraft map for learning mathematics

MathegymMap is a German language Minecraft map that combines adventure gameplay with mathematics exercises for students in grades 5 and 6 at German grammar schools. In the story, Steve becomes ill, and the player must explore a secret laboratory belonging to Professor Herbert to find a cure.

Progress depends on solving tasks about number lines, calculating expressions, fractions, and decimal numbers. The map was created by students at Rudolf Diesel Grammar School in Augsburg as part of a school project. It is a distinctive choice for an educational Minecraft server, and our BoxToPlay service makes server deployment convenient.
